Experience: Pedro Baracui works in the complete range of environmental matters; the practice comprises counseling and representation before agencies, litigation, representation in civil actions, embargoes of fines and civil liability investigation; Pedro has a large experience in environmental licensing of projects in diverse industries, such as energy generation, mining, steel mills, infrastructure, agroindustry and others; counseling also focuses on matters like residues, land contamination, forestry and protected areas; negotiation, elaboration and closure of Consent Agreements with the District Attorney’s Office and agencies; experienced in due diligence in environmental and real estate matters.

Education: LL.B., Law School of the University of São Paulo; Post-Graduate Degree in Environmental Law (Diplôme d’Études Approfondies), Paris 1 and 2 (Panthéon-Sorbonne/Panthéon-Assas) University.

Other activities: Member of the Brazilian Environmental Lawyers Association – UBAA; member of the Sorbonne’s Environmental Law Jurists Association (AJDE).
