Compliance

With corporate ethics and transparency being at the center of Brazil’s current economic challenges, compliance has become increasingly important in the organization and activities of companies. Our advice in this area includes preventive counseling, the preparation and review of compliance procedures and programs, and employee and management training focused on an organization’s sensitive activities, including those involving potential antitrust, regulatory, foreign trade, privacy, environmental and corruption issues (often together with U.S. or U.K. counsel addressing the impact of FCPA or Bribery Act issues on multinationals doing business in Brazil).
